I definitely got into the Halloween spirit this year, for some reason. I can't remember another year where I went to more than one Halloween function or wore more than one costume. This year, though, I threw a party with my roommates (smashing success) AND went to the Halloween dance my roommate was in charge of (another smashing success). For one, I looked like a totally hot 80's dancer (although Stef is the one that looks like she belongs in a White Snake video). For the other, we busted out the leather pants and suction-cup dart guns for our version of Charlie's Angels / She Spies. There's nothing like having an excuse to wear leather pants. The most common reaction I got was either, "WHO had the leather pants?' or, "I definitely can't picture you wearing leather pants" (from people who didn't see me in costume). Apparently I'm a prude.
