This is the best thing I've seen in a long time. I'm a long-time Saved by the Bell junkie and could probably still tell you which episode it is simply by watching the first 30 seconds of it. Zack Morris forever.

so,
does sitting in a rocking chair and doing this:
today while Maddy napped make me an 80-year-old woman? Actually, I really don't care. It was fun. I re-learned how to crochet from this tutorial.

iPod: A Second Sampling
I love those days when my iPod cranks out great songs. Today's mix was especially good with songs I haven't heard in a long time:
- Endless Love - Diana Ross & Lionel Richie
- Veronica - Elvis Costello
- Regulators - Warren G f/ Snoop Dogg
- Girls - Beastie Boys
- Melting - Tristan Prettyman
- Dark Blue - Jack's Mannequin
- Elephant Love Song Medley - Moulin Rouge Soundtrack
- Black Mercedes - One Block Radius
What songs are you listening to? I desperately need new music!!

polaroids
I saw this cool tool and decided to Hockneyize a picture I took a couple years ago. I think it's a pretty fun concept. What do you think?

iPod: A Sampling
Today has been a great iPod day. I always fire up the iHome at work. Some days are duds -- too many songs that make me cringe (and should probably be deleted from itunes) or too many chapters of the BOM mixed in. Today, though has been awesome. Almost every song either makes me want to dance in my office, reminds me of good times with good friends or is simply an old favorite. Here are a few:
Spectacular, Spectacular from Moulin Rouge - reminds me of Stef and watching that movie, oh, a million times while making dinner or cleaning
The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkel - an old favorite that reminds me of my freshman year at BYU, more than anything
I Don't Feel Like Dancing by Scissor Sisters - I may or may not have listened to this three times in a row while bopping in my chair
Hotel Song by Regina Spektor - see above re: chair dancing; this one might have included spirit fingers
Keep Holding On by Avril Lavigne - makes me think of this tearjerker
Hands Down by Dashboard Confessional - this song made it on every compilation CD I made from 2002 to 2005, at least
The Last Song by All-American Rejects - best played full-blast while driving to volleyball with Stef and Haley and singing along
What songs are you listening to?

It's back!
Fall TV is in full swing. I love it. I've tried to curb my TV-watching, but DVR just doesn't make that possible. I can still live my life and then watch my shows (sans commercials) when it's convenient for me. It's evil, I tell you. Here's what I'm watching:
DirtySexyMoney: There's only been one episode, but so far, I like.
Gossip Girl: Yes, it's a teeny-bopper show. No, I'm not ashamed.
Grey's Anatomy: After the second half of last season, I was ready to call it quits. I'm giving my beloved show a second chance, though. Last week's season opener didn't disappoint. Except for one stupid storyline {ahem! George/Izzie}. Let it go!
The Hills: Hands down, my #1 guilty pleasure. I know I shouldn't care about Lauren, Lo, or Audrina, but, oh, I do.
The Office: Really, all I can say about this show is that I'm a little stitious. I can't get enough of my Dunder Mifflin-ites.
Prison Break: I wasn't sure how they would manage a third season of this one, but I'm hooked. Even Matt will watch this one with me!
Private Practice: I watched the first episode, and I'm not convinced. I do love Tim Daly and Paul Adelstein, though. Maybe just one more try...
Ugly Betty: Campy good fun.
What are you watching?
