Today has been a great iPod day. I always fire up the iHome at work. Some days are duds -- too many songs that make me cringe (and should probably be deleted from itunes) or too many chapters of the BOM mixed in. Today, though has been awesome. Almost every song either makes me want to dance in my office, reminds me of good times with good friends or is simply an old favorite. Here are a few:
Spectacular, Spectacular from Moulin Rouge - reminds me of Stef and watching that movie, oh, a million times while making dinner or cleaning
The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkel - an old favorite that reminds me of my freshman year at BYU, more than anything
I Don't Feel Like Dancing by Scissor Sisters - I may or may not have listened to this three times in a row while bopping in my chair
Hotel Song by Regina Spektor - see above re: chair dancing; this one might have included spirit fingers
Keep Holding On by Avril Lavigne - makes me think of this tearjerker
Hands Down by Dashboard Confessional - this song made it on every compilation CD I made from 2002 to 2005, at least
The Last Song by All-American Rejects - best played full-blast while driving to volleyball with Stef and Haley and singing along
What songs are you listening to?
