Weekend Roundup: Wicked edition

Friday night, Matt and I spent the whole night cleaning our apartment. You know when you keep putting it off and the dirty (and clean) clothes pile up and the living room becomes more and more cluttered and the bed hasn't been made all week? We had hit that stage and then some. We had friends coming in from out of town on Saturday and didn't want them to see the squalor we sometimes live in. Mission accomplished. {We've even managed to keep it clean for three whole days!}

Saturday was a runaround day. We ran a couple errands in the morning and then went to the airport to pick up Lisa and Kati. We hit up The Mills for a few hours of shopping, where Matt forced me to buy something. What a mean husband. We met up with some friends for dinner (the enchiladas suizas are heavenly) and then made it to Fair Park in plenty of time for Wicked. I love that show! This was my third time, but Matt had never seen it. I still maintain that the first cast I saw was the best, but this came in a close second. I've had the songs stuck in my head ever since.

Sunday we had to get up early (okay, not really that early) to get Lisa & Kati back to the airport and then I proceeded to take a nap until it was time for church. Afterwards, we went and drove around looking at more houses and ended up finding a neighborhood we feel good about. It seems to be a half-step up from the others we've seen and I really hope we can find a house we like! Keep your fingers crossed for us! Mom & Pops will be in town this weekend and are going to line up appointments to show us (well, just Matt since I'll be in Denver for work) several houses!
